Giving Fans the Opportunity for an Upgrade

As part of Nationwide Insurance's outreach during Tournament week, they are giving fans the opportunity to become a VIP guest simply by wearing the right hat. Patrons will have the chance to earn the ultimate fan experience of watching the PGA TOUR action from a Nationwide Insurance hospitality venue. Invitations will be extended to up to six patrons each day (Thursday – Sunday) who are spotted wearing the exclusive 2013 commemorative hat. The premium, tournament branded hats are only available at participating Nationwide Insurance agencies. 

Imagine viewing the world's greatest golfers while you're enjoying complimentary food and beverage and surrounded by a festive indoor / outdoor atmosphere including air conditioning.

So, how to get in on this opportunity? It's simple.

  • When you purchase tickets here.
  • You'll then have the option to visit http://www.nationwide.com/cps/nw-memorial-vip-experience-agents.htm. The link leads patrons to participating Nationwide Insurance Agencies in Ohio where you can receive a free, limited edition Memorial Tournament hat.
  • Wear your 2013 commemorative hat on the course and if you are one of the patrons selected by a Nationwide on-course spotter (six patrons will be selected each day), you will be invited to a Nationwide Insurance hospitality venue. The on-course spotters will be roaming the entire 18 holes and the only way to get upgraded is by wearing the 2013 commemorative hat and accepting the invitation.

Last year, 20 lucky patrons were upgraded throughout the week. So, why couldn't one be you this year?
