"Fore!Fest" Street and Music Festival set to expand to three days in 2019

Official Memorial Tournament Golf Shop returns to Bridge Park district

DUBLIN, OHIO - The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide and Crawford Hoying announced today that Bridge Park –  the only walkable, mixed-use community in downtown Dublin – will serve as the Tournament’s official offsite destination in 2019.

"The Memorial is proud to join Crawford Hoying in supporting the Bridge Park district and the second annual Fore!Fest," said Tournament Executive Director Dan Sullivan. "With the success of last year's inaugural Fore!Fest and the expanded format in 2019, the event has quickly grown into a community favorite, providing central Ohioans and golf fans an opportunity to enjoy live music, food and beverage and visit all the shops and restaurants in Bridge Park, including the Memorial Golf Shop."

Throughout the month of May, Bridge Park will offer live entertainment, promotional activation across the district, as well as restaurant and bar specials leading up to the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide and culminating with Fore!Fest.

Fore!Fest, a street and music festival offering live entertainment, food and beverage options and more, is expanding from its original one-day format to a new three-day platform for this year’s event, May 30-June 1, 2019. The event is free to the public and will take place from 6-10 p.m. on Thursday (5/30), 6-11 p.m. on Friday (5/31) and 11 a.m.–8 p.m. on Saturday (6/1). Portions of Longshore Street and Bridge Park Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic for the entirety of the event allowing for pedestrian focused open streets. Each day Fore!Fest will feature different local musical and entertainment acts, including a "Dublin Community Day" on Saturday with family-focused activities. Cameron Mitchell Premier Events, the official caterer of the Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide, will provide food and beverage offerings for sale during Fore!Fest. The event is rain or shine. The Fore!Fest lineup includes local favorites such as Doc Robinson, Cousin Simple, Clubhouse, Full Frontal, Zoo Trippin and many more. In addition to partnering with Bridge Park to bring Fore!Fest to Tournament fans, the Memorial also offers an official Tournament Golf Shop now open on Longshore street for a second straight year. This full-service retail store is open to the public through June 2 and will feature official Memorial Tournament gear, including shirts, hats, active wear, pin flags, golf chairs, drinkware, sunglasses and more. The public also can purchase Tournament badges at the new Golf Shop and the Memorial's Limited-Edition Bear, with proceeds benefiting Nationwide Children's Hospital.
